    "Mother", photo collage mounted in postcard format, signed, with two other signed postcards, one signed labeled slip of thin paper (label), total 4 items,
    offset prints on paper, 1968-73, "Mother" signed, dedicated, by the artist, verso, others all signed , The edition for "Mother" was approximately 2,000, but only a few were signed as here. ,

  • Condition: In very good condition with a little evident handling effects and toning especially at the edges, a few minor stains and smudges. Item was actually mailed from Hamilton to Dr. Luisi as the stamp attests.

This "Richard Hamilton Novelty" work dates to 1968, a period when Hamilton was very much focused on works which echoed a major influence, Marcel DuChamp and his ready mades as can be seen in this project.This example was mailed to Dr. Luisi in 1973.
