  • References: Recorded and illustrated in the standard text on the original graphics by Dali authored by Albert Field, No. 72-5-D p.72. Also Michler and Lopsinger's text, No. 564.
  • Provenance: From the estate of the printer Rigal.
  • Framing: Sold unframed
  • Note: Rigal printed most of the etched work in the 60s and 70s.
    Dali drew his inspiration for these etchings from Gerard de Nerval's hallucinatory "Aurelia ou le reve et la vie (1855). (M&L. pg, 207, V-I.)
