  • Condition:In very fine condition, the full sheet fresh from the original portfolio. Matted according to standard archival standards with acid free mats and mounts.
  • Sheet: 27 1/2 x 21 1/4 in (70 x 53 cm.)
  • References: Recorded and illustrated in the standard text by Juan Carlos Pereda, No. 109.
  • Provenance: From the estate of Bernard Lewin, publisher of many of Tamayo's graphics.

  • Note: Bernard Lewin was a pioneer in exhibiting Mexican Modern Art and introduced many of the important artists of the era to the wider art world.Lewin was a personal friend of Federico Cantu, Rufino Tamayo and David Alfaro Siqueiros.
    As a dealer, I was able to work with him in the late seventies and early eighties when he released many of the most important of Tamayo's graphics.
